of historical, archaeological or natural interest:
- walking in underground aqueduct channels or
along the top of an aqueduct bridge.
- wandering through an abandoned medieval walled
town or the cloister of a monastery in ruins.
- peering into the tombs of a remote Etruscan
burial site.
- wading along a stream set deep in its ravine
to find Roman bridges, etc
